Strawberry Time!

We went with our good friends from school today to pick strawberries at Vaughn Farms in Fuquay-Varina.  It was so much fun, although a little chilly for the end of April, and we came home with 4 lbs of mouth-watering strawberries.  We made smoothies right away and poured some into popsicle molds for later this week.  I think I might go back again to freeze more for the summer!  The girls loved it and also enjoyed playing on the seesaws, riding on the tractor, and feeding the chickens.  I'm excited for our farmer's market to open in May so we can enjoy more fresh local produce!
