John and I took Reagan to a "Farm Animal Frolic" at Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm yesterday and it was so much fun! It is a beautiful 150 year old working farm up near the Poconos and every spring they have a kids' weekend. My friends at work recommended this for Reagan and I'm so glad we went. She is definitely becoming more timid around animals she doesn't know (which I think is a good thing!) and wanted to hold one of our hands at all times. But she warmed up to a few of the babies and loved watching it all. We watched duck herding, shearing a sheep, and petted rabbits, mules, and a baby goat. We also saw a baby cow, piglets, lambs and more. She thought the piglets playing were so funny. They also had a game area for kids and pony rides (she was not interested!) and she ate a yummy hot dog!! She wasn't interested in the hay jumping at all. John took her in it and she wanted right out - I don't really blame her, but the other kids seemed to be having fun. We all had a fun day!
