What am I doing now?

I have been really bad about taking pictures lately...guess with the pregnancy, a toddler, selling a house, packing up my classroom, and moving to NC has kind of taken over my life.  Still, as I was walking Reagan into daycare today, I thought, I need to write down her little morning routine to remember when she is older and a teenager and I want to pull my hair out!!!

When I wake Reagan up in the morning, she always says "Hi Momma".  Then she throws all of her stuffed animals out of the crib onto the ground and tries to hang her blanket over the side.  Some mornings, she jumps all over the crib saying "ribbit" and others she plays hide and seek under her blanket.  She is in NO hurry in the morning, might I mention.  :)  She loves to clean her animal of choice with a wipe while I changer her diaper as well!

She loves to get on her shoes and socks right now and is getting pretty good at it as long as it's not her tie-up sneakers!  She tries to put on her clothes as well and does a good job with shirts and pants.

We then ride to daycare (about 10 minutes) and I share my waffle or bagel with her.  "More bagel please Mommy, More waffle please mommy."  She talks almost the entire ride - she counts the houses, says hi to the trees, and loves to point out school buses and big trucks.  Today she talked to her stuffed doggie the entire ride...petting him, combing his hair, giving kisses.  If only I could have recorded it.

When we arrive at daycare - she goes to an in-home daycare - she yells "Nouna's" - which is Stacy's Greek name for her goddaughters.  Their sidewalk is lined with flowers and decorations which include a ladybug, frogs playing poker, and a bull frog.  She says "hi" to each of them and often pets the bull frog on his head and sometimes leans down to give him a hug.  It is hysterical!

She loves guacamole, chips and dips, oreos, watching Dora and Diego and saying "Swiper, No Swiping" when Swiper the fox comes on.  It never gets old to see her do this.  Anytime she gets the slightest 'booboo' and I mean the slightest thing, she wants it to be kissed (including her butt...she told John "kiss butt Daddy" this past weekend)!     "Hold you Mommy" is another favorite thing to say.  She loves the park...however, hates the swing.  She loves to be outside and would stay out there all day if we had more of a yard.  She loves blowing bubbles and "catching" shadows.

She just got her 2nd haircut because it was resembling a mullet again and it looks much better.  She also has some not so wonderful moments when she doesn't get her way.  We haven't had any all out tantrums yet, but definitely some power struggles.  She seems to know when she's done something wrong and immediately says "Sorry, momma", "Nice, momma", but this doesn't mean she doesn't do it again!!!

I could probably keep typing on and on about all that she does, but hopefully this will help me remember a quick snapshot of her at almost 2 years old.  One of these days I'm going to make a book out of all my blogs on blurb.com so that this becomes her scrapbook!
