August Update

August has been a busy month for the Arp Family!  The most exciting thing is that we found a house...yay!  After months of looking, we are so excited to settle in NC.  It has been quite the adventure going between VA and NC and looking at houses with a toddler and newborn...but we did it!  I'll post some random shots below from the month.

Two of my cousins have had birthday parties this week and Reagan has had so much going to their parties.  Taylor turned nine and Sarah turned eight.  I forgot my camera at Taylor's party, but got a few shots at Sarah's pool party.  This one is of Michelle holding Claire...she carried her around at Taylor's party and Sarah's - she has a natural touch and Claire fell asleep on her within minutes! 

Reagan and I had so much fun swimming in the pool together at Sarah's party and we went down this slide!!!  I seriously couldn't believe she wanted to do this and it was really fast...so fast that we came flying out and went underwater.  I jumped up and Reagan was just fine, wiped her face off, and went back to swimming.  I thought she would be screaming.  However, when I asked her if she wanted to do it again later that night, she said "No!". 

Reagan has really gotten into dancing to music lately and when we had friends over the other night, we looked over and she was dancing next to the CD player.

She loves this new tutu and her Leapster Laptop!  She doesn't like to wear a shirt with her tutu though!!!
