OBX

Well, because of our house closing on the 31st, we are having to cancel our beach week trip to OBX this year.  We decided it's too much with all the traveling we have done this summer.  We will be moving into our house on the 1st (fingers crossed) and don't want to pack right back up for vacation three days later.  Too much chaos!!  So, my mom and I took the girls down to OBX for the day.  We went to see Nanny C (my BFF's mom) and family, even though we couldn't see Jaime and Nora (boo).  It was the absolute perfect beach day and Reagan and I spent the day playing on the beach while mom caught up with Nanny C and they watched Claire up at the cottage.  Claire didn't mind one bit since Nanny C held her the entire day...Claire's most favorite thing!!!

 Playing in the sand...I love that she loves the beach!!!  Just like her Momma!!  She loved playing with Nanny Kat too...what is it about grandmothers that children love?  Doesn't even have to be her grandmother! 

When she is working on something (a drip castle in this instance), she sticks her bottom lip out while she works.  :)
